Simi Deleawe is a first-generation immigrant from Lagos, Nigeria, who was raised in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 17, she began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ—a relationship that remains the foundation of her life today.

She attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a degree in accounting with a minor in business management. During her freshman year in 2014, Simi founded HAVEN Student Fellowship, a campus ministry designed to help students take ownership of their faith and reflect the character of Jesus Christ.

Over a decade later, HAVEN continues to thrive, making a lasting impact at The University of Texas at Austin, The University of North Texas, and beyond. In 2021, HAVEN launched HAVEN Missions—an umbrella organization created to extend the ministry’s reach beyond the college campus.

Simi also holds a Master of Christian Ministry from Oral Roberts University. She firmly believes that the safest place in the world is in the presence of God and is committed to empowering a generation to seek Him wholeheartedly.
